Last weekend, Sparkz, also known as Eloy, performed his final live set of the year at Intents Festival. That show marked the beginning of something special: today, he released his very first album, ‘SPARKZ : LIVE: ALBUM’. According to Sparkz, it’s “the start of something huge.”
“It feels like a huge milestone,” Eloy shares. “I’ve been making music for years, but an album is a whole different level. I put everything into this project: energy, emotion, and vision. It finally feels like I’m telling a story that goes beyond individual tracks.”
Four zones, one story
Sparkz had a clear motivation while creating the album: he was searching for a pure and authentic sound. Not music made to score hits, but something that gave him goosebumps. That inspiration led to four zones, each with its own character:
- The Impact Zone – “pure power and energy, the core of my sound. HARD and made to go off live.”
- The Blackout Zone – “raw, minimalistic, the lung-crushing side.”
- Afterglow – “that magical feeling after the climax – warm, hopeful, euphoric, but still driving and intense.”
- Dystopia – “a harsh, alienating ‘end of the world’ vibe that hits really hard.”
“Together, they formed my story,” he explains. “Something that kept me up at night. Something I felt was missing in our scene, and that I hope it adds something of real value.”
